Great palette for basic makeupApr 11, 2011

On the whole this is a great palette! The colors look ridiculously bright in the palette itself, but they go on much lighter. This is a great palette for when I do theatre makeup or need bright colors. They are pretty heavily pigmented too, which is nice. The only bad thing I have to say about this palette is that the colors do not last long on the eyelids. To fix that, I just put a little concealer or eye primer on before and they last much longer. On the whole this is a great palette for when you need bright pigmented colors or theatrical makeup. (Tip: use a large brush for the blushes and tap it first so the color goes on more smoothly)

its a great palette!!! i dont rated 5 stars only because its kind of smell funny ... but a little perfum solve the problem!!! i hope they make the formula whitout the rare smell!!!! love this brand!! nothing was broken very well packaging and live in argentina

It's really hard to work with this product especially for beginners.. It's very chalky and not well pigmented. But I think you can't ask for better quality for such price.

This palette has all bright and dark matte colors so it isn't as useful for everyday. The shadows are creamy and long wearing. I don't care for the blushes. I feel the colors in the blush are too pigmented and bright also hard to blend. I am very light skinned and this maybe more suitable for a darker skin tone. I have only done a purple look so far I will try other looks, maybe it will grow on me.

The pallette came in mint condition. It was VERY well packaged and none of the cosmetice were disturbed during shipping. The colors were very bright and bold and go on to the skin well. They are also very blendable. FYI, it would be wise to use a shadow base as well as a primer to ensure longevity! I also purchased the Creative Me #1 pallete by Costal Scents as well and I have had nothing but compliments! It also comes off easily with a facial cleanser. I am impressed! I love Costal Scents!
