Beautiful colors. They are the size of a dime which I expected from other CS palettes. This isn't a problem unless you plan on wearing one color every day, in that case it won't last long. The shadows are highly pigmented and apply and blend well. I highly recommend this palette for its large range of colors. It's actually a very neutral palette with metallic finishes. I am a Black woman and these show up on me nicely with a shadow primer. I use different MAC paint pots for a base. Beautiful.

I was worried about this product b/c I saw in the photos the bright pinks, but I had read and seen sooooo many reviews of it on here and on youtube, I had to try it out! I got this and it is seriously my favorite palette I own. I don't own the shimmer palette b/c the colors are too bright for me. This is definitely still neutral enough for me, b/c i'm more of a natural/neutral eye color kind of girl! I seriously am in love with this, and can't tell you how many different eye looks I've already been able to make b/c of all of the colors available! I'm in love! hehe.

I love this eyeshadow palette. I'm so glad I picked this one. The colors are absolutely gorgeous and go on so smooth. The shadows are high quality and very pigmented. They last on me all day (10+ hours) with a good primer underneath. They are metallic, some more than others, but they are wearable for everyday and not over the top. You get a more metallic sheen when you apply them with a finger instead of a brush. The variety of the colors is great, you get a little bit of everything. There's lots of browns, greys, peaches, and purples - my favorites! This is a great product and it will last a long time.

I ordered this palette after viewing a youtube how-to video that utilized its shadows. Owning a large selection of high-end make-up products, mostly from Sephora, I was impressed when I received the 88 Coastal Scents Metal Mania palette. It is fashionably shimmery, without being unwearable in the everyday setting. I have worn 2 shimmery brown-ish shades (as the base color for the lid) to job interviews, receiving complements on both. Furthermore, this palette has at least 10 shadows that can be used as a highlight to any look, formal or fun.
I love this palette's versatility, and am able to incorporate at least one color (usually 2 or using all 3) into any look. The looks you can create range from standard and conventional to extravagant and multi-dimentional using the colors and shades in this palette's arsenal. I think experimentation is key to this palette, since most of the shades complement each other, or can effectively be combined in favorable and interesting patterns.
Blending is super-easy with a good shadow brush, so go ahead and experiment, combining these shadows to create a look of your own. Or do as I did, and check out videos on youtube for tips, ideas and pointers.

I love that it's shimmery and metallic but not chunks of glitter. This is a fun, pretty palette that's perfect for creating various looks. I've always wanted to experiment with different colors to figure out what looks good on me and what doesn't but I've never wanted to spend the extra money on shadows I don't wear on a daily basis. So I've always stuck to the basic browns and taupe. And the few times I've experimented with different colors, I end up not liking the way it looks on me. With this palette, if you don't like one color, move on to the other 87 shades! The colors are pigmented, good quality, doesn't look cheap when you apply like some of the cheaper metallic shadows from drugstores and the colors vary from very metallic to a satin sheen. I do wish they had a couple mattes in there. I know adding the matte colors in there would defeat the purpose of calling it "Metal Mania" but it would make the palette so much more wearable and user friendly. I don't know about anyone else but I don't like to use all metallic, shimmery shades on my lids. I like to mix it up with metallics on my lid and a dark matte shade on the corner/crease of lid, this makes it more wearable and flattering. I find it very odd that they have 88 colors but no black or dark brown. They have a lot of bronzy shades but they are more towards a dark taupey brown. Even if I were to use all metallics, none of them are dark enough to be an outer corner color in my opinion. A fun thing about these shadows is there are undertones/shimmers in it that you don't realize is there until you apply it. Today I applied what I thought was a simple white shimmer to my inner corner and a little under my eye. Later I realized it has a pink iridescent undertone which actually looks really pretty. But that can also backfire if you don't want certain colors. Overall, it's a pretty good buy for about $25. I would say these are comparable to Mac shadows. Love the slim case, I was afraid it would be too bulky. I would love a smaller version of this though, maybe even half the colors in a smaller palette for travel since this doesn't fit in my makeup bag. The shipping can get pricey so try to go for the free shipping promos.
There are also some pretty decent (not exactly, but close enough) dupes in here too.. I labeled the top row of my CS Metal Mania palette A through K across, then 1-8 down.
