OK for travel but not worth the priceJun 03, 2010

I needed a good makeup kit as I travel quite often and came across the Absolute Seduction by Lancome. This particular palette contains 6 eyeshadows (colors are too dull for my liking), 3 lip colors (colors are ok), 1 lip liner, 1 pink blush and 2 things that seem to be eyeshadow primers but I've never used them. The bristle on the brushes seem ok and can just about do the job. In addition, the size of the mirror is good and does capture your face.
However I didn't like the eyeshadow colors as Lancome don't really give you much of a variety. I think they should have at least doubled up on the eyeshadow colors (12 shades) instead of wasting space on those primers. In addition the lip color does not stay on very long (2-3 hours at the most) and tends to dry out my lips. I paid $70 for this set and I have to say it's been a waste of money. I have only given this product 2 stars for compactness as it nicely fits into my handbag. All I can say is that I would not buy this product again.
