I saw the infomercial and was intrigued. I have wavy hair that looks curly when wet. I can coax it to stay curly when dry with some mousses, etc. This product wasn't even as good as some cheap mousses I've purchased at the grocery store. I don't know how it works with true curly hair, but it did almost nothing for my wavy hair. Another reviewer suggested Curls Rock. I ordered some and it works much better for my hair. However, I can't comb through it as well when dry. I highly recommend ordering any kind of infomercial product on Amazon, as you don't have to deal with the pushy salespeople and trying to cancel "club memberships".

I bought the travel kit to test out these products on my combination wavy, straight, sometimes curly, sometimes frizzy hair. Nothing seems to work for me, and I hate the stiff sticky look and feel. I've been using this for about a month now, and I finally feel like I have something that works. I spray the Botanical Boost on my wet hair, and no more frizz! I don't always use the gel, only if I am going to blow dry. Otherwise, it feels a bit stiff. I love the shampoo and conditioner, but as with everything else, I need to switch to a clarifying or moisturizing shampoo once every two weeks or so. I would recommend at least giving the small sizes a try. I'm buying a set for my daughter who keeps taking my botanical spray to use on her thick wavy hair. She loves it too!

I have spent a lot of time and money trying to control my curly hair. As I have aged the wildness has gotten worse. I saw the ad for Quidad Curl Essentials and felt it was worth trying. I am so pleased with this product. It is light on hair where some products are so heavy you have to wash your hair each day to get the goo out. Not Quidad, I can use it once a day and wash my hair once a week. I bought the Starter Kit and will be ordering the larger bottles and using the starter kit for travel size with the great carrier case. Great, great product!

While I don't use it daily, I absolutely love the way these products make my naturally loose curls look and feel. When I use the shampoo, conditioner and gel together, my curls are defined, yet soft, and virtually frizz free. I do live in CO though where the air is quite dry -- maybe that's why I'm not experiencing fizz like other reviewers. I've also found that if I start messing with and styling my hair before it's completely dry ( I always air dry), then it starts looking a little frizzy and unkempt. I also don't use a lot of any of the products. No lather in the shampoo, only the ends for the conditioner.
Using those three products, metal curl clips to give some height and definition, and patiently air drying, I have a sexy head of curly hair.
(I don't particularly love the boost spray though -- it seems to wear down my hair. I won't buy that again, but I have already bought the full size versions of the shampoo and conditioner. Gel I'm still working on.)

I was afraid to commit to the large sizes of these products due to the costliness of each individual item. I found this travel size kit and thought I'd be able to judge how the products work in my wavy/sometimes curly hair. I was very dissatisfied with every item. The shampoo was too gentle, the conditioner didn't removed any tangles, the Climate Control product (when applied right after towel drying per the instructions) prevented any waves or curls from forming in my hair and rendered it completed straight.
I'm so glad I tried these trial sizes and saved myself a lot of money by not having to buy the large sizes. Don't waste your money.
