Best Lotion out there by far!!!Aug 11, 2011
By E. Peyinghaus Our teenage daughter has struggled with seasonal allergies showing up as a rash on her face, neck and arms. The dermatologist wanted to put her on steroids. Absolutely not. I told her I was only interested in natural products/remedies. Her response, "Never, never use natural products!" Hmm....OH REALLY? What do you know?!! I was so frustrated after spending so much money trying to figure out what was causing this.
I remembered what Dr. Mercola said -- "Never put anything on your body that you wouldn't eat." Our skin absorbs so quickly - and it goes right into the bloodstream.
So I shopped and shopped until I found this lotion -- this was the ticket. No perfumes, no dyes, nothing unnatural. It soothed and healed these areas. Now we use only this lotion for the entire family. It has remedied my husband's dandruff. He applies it right to his scalp. (He has a buzz cut.)
This is the best best stuff.

I have a toddler and an infant with eczema. Our toddler had such a bad rash she had to go on an intermediate level of prescription steroids. Once we cured that we started using Mustela Stelatopia and that seemed to help. We also used that on our infant. A few weeks later our toddler was fine, but our infant's eczema was just getting worse. We tried Aquaphor, Hydrolatum, Oatmeal baths, Stelatopia, Burt's Bees, Hugo Naturals, and various combinations of the above. Hydrolatum applied over Stelatopia was keeping it from getting worse, but it wasn't helping it go away.
I use ShiKai lotions on myself as I love what isn't in them (bad stuff) and I love the price and how well they work for me. I also have had very chapped hands and their Advanced Formula hand cream has been the only thing that has healed them (they were cracked and bleeding!) Nightly dipping in Aquaphor and Hydrolatum wasn't helping me. Since I've had such good luck with the ShiKai I thought I'd try the Children's Lotion on my daughters. Wow is all I have to say! My infant is healed! No more dry patches! And all I did was use this for 3 days in the am and pm! My toddler has already healed, but her skin is much more moisturized using this as well. And it's not greasy! No spots on clothes that you have to wash out!
Needless to say we are a very happy family and we recommend it highly to anyone who has kids with problem skin. Amazon has it for a good price, normally $14+ in stores (Whole Foods usually carries it.) Stelatopia has been the only similar weight in lotion (as in density) and it isn't quite as dense as this is, but both absorb into the skin at an equal rate. However, the ShiKai moisturization is far superior. No need for a second cream to put on top to lock it in.
Great for sensitive skinMar 17, 2012
By Nicole I got a sample of this product to try as a face moisturizer because I have really sensitive skin. I liked that it had all natural ingredients and a lot of them were organic too. My skin is very sensitive to fragrance especially, and this is fragrance free which is a plus. It may seem weird to use a childrens lotion as face cream, but if you have sensitive skin it's worth a try! also it's a great deal if you order from vitacost.

This does heal eczema prone skin. I've tried it on my daughter and nephew, and it helped both children to the point that they were eczema free, but please understand it doesn't cure it. I've ordered a bottle because it's been a few years since my daughter last out break of eczema and it's hard to find in stores. Kudos to this seller for offering a lower price, it's $14-15 in the stores and another seller on amazon is asking $40 plus $10 shipping, outrageous!!!! Buy this product it really is great and so is the price!
The only lotion that works for eczema!!!Oct 14, 2011
By TxnMom We tried every lotion available for our toddler's eczema behind his knees and on his arms. I saw this in Kroger and took a chance. My hubby scolded me for spending 15 bucks on a small bottle of lotion but just after 3 uses, he took back what he said and suggested we get more! I'm just glad I found it here for cheaper! It does wonders for my son's skin. The redness and dryness is completely gone!!!!!!
